Save the date for the Big Give 22nd – 29th April 2025

If you have ever considered supporting CPRE Hampshire with a donation, this spring from the 22nd to 29th April is the time to do it!

For that week only, every pound that you donate will be matched by the Big Give’s annual Green Match Fund – doubling the impact that your generous donation makes for hedgerows.

We will be raising funds for the Hampshire Hedge Project, so that we can complete our ambitious project to connect the South Downs and New Forest National Parks with a nature corridor of hedgerows. The project provides a program of free events, support for school groups and training sessions, all aimed at improving knowledge and understanding of our native hedgerows.

The funds will help us to plant 5 km of new hedgerow as well as provide hedgerow management training, keeping the traditional skill of hedgelaying alive!

We also want to develop a network of hedgerow hero volunteers to help map, survey, and monitor hedgerows in Hampshire, and work with partners to develop best-practice guidelines for hedgerows.

We aim to raise £5,000 during the campaign week, which will be partly matched by Big Give – giving us a total of £10,000 to spend on the Hampshire Hedgerows.

All donations made via the Big Give between 22nd to 29th April will be doubled!
