Hedgerow Planting

Autumn marks the return of our much-loved hedgerow work, and with it, a renewed commitment to restoring these important wildlife corridors. As we enter the final phase of the Hampshire Hedge project we’re aiming to plant over 5,500 metres of hedgerow – connecting the New Forest and South Downs. It’s part of CPRE’s Hedgerow Heroes Project (Phase 5), bringing people together to restore and protect these vital habitats.

'We are keen cyclists and like to get out to enjoy the local countryside around Winchester. It is great to get involved with the Hampshire Hedge initiative to connect and improve all the wildlife corridors on our doorstep.’'
