Hampshire Hedgerows Photography Competition

Bill Waters

We are excited to announce details of our Hampshire Hedgerows Photography Competition.

At CPRE Hampshire we believe our hedgerows are the unsung heroes of the countryside. They play a vital role in the health and diversity of our land, our wildlife and even our climate.

We would love to see your photographs that capture a hedgerow moment, whether it’s part of the landscape, a close up, the plants, the wildlife, the roots or the leaves. It might be sad, funny or uplifting. We’re leaving it to you to be inspired.

And the best bit is – anyone and everyone can enter. You don’t need to be a professional, just start snapping and give it a go.

As you can see, this image of a wet baby bird sheltering in a hedge is a great example of a photograph showing the value of the hedgerow, taken by one of our volunteer photographers, Bob Hart. Thank you Bob!

Prizes will include book vouchers and the chance to have your photograph included in our e-Newsletter and featured in our bi-annual magazine, Hampshire Views.
