Join CPRE Hampshire and Action Hampshire for a FREE half-day conference on Tuesday 19 October at Littleton Village Hall.

During the pandemic, communities, businesses and organisations in rural Hampshire stepped up and found new ways of working together and supporting each other. As we start the slow journey back to some form of normality, most agree that the post-pandemic ‘normal’ is likely to look very different to what we knew before. How can we learn from our experiences and help to shape the future?

What are the challenges and opportunities? What can we do to support rural recovery? How can we care for the countryside and for each other?

This conference will bring together people living and working in Hampshire’s countryside to:

– celebrate what Hampshire’s rural communities have achieved during the pandemic and be inspired by their stories

– share lessons learned, with practical examples of what worked well and what didn’t

– look at the impacts and opportunities of the unprecedented number of countryside visitors during lockdown and ‘staycations’

– discuss how we can build on the community spirit and resourcefulness in Hampshire, and the new connections and partnerships that have emerged.

The event will open at 9.30 am for registration, start at 10 am and finish at 1pm. Refreshments will be provided. We invite you to BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH if you would like to network with others after the event.
