A message from a volunteer ...
Lizzie Laird, a volunteer from Kings Worthy, regularly helps to organise our events. She says:
"From my own experience I can say that being a volunteer can be fun, as well as giving me the opportunity to work on interesting projects and meet new people. I regularly help with local events, running a raffle, organising refreshments and helping with general administrative and organisational duties. I volunteer when I have spare time from all my other commitments. I am passionate about the countryside and all things rural, so there is nothing better than knowing this work helps influence things for the good of our Hampshire countryside!"

Why Don't You Volunteer?
You've heard how Lizzie volunteers at events. If you value our countryside, other activities you might like to volunteer for include:
- helping to run a raffle
- being our 'eyes and ears' in your area
- helping with our sustainable transport toolkit
- the list is endless...
If you are interested, please contact Becky French or Anthony McEwen to discuss the volunteering opportunities. Or you can complete the volunteer interest form (doc version - pdf version) and return it to us by email or post. We would love to hear from you!
