About the Artist

Mervyn Goode is one of the country's leading and most respected landscape painters. His first one-man exhibition at the Highton gallery in London in 1970, which featured entirely oil paintings depicting the Hampshire landscape, was a 'sell out'. His career has flourished since then, with numerous one-man exhibtitions in London and the provinces and invitations to mixed exhibtions in public and private galleries throughout the country.

The appearance of his work on television documentaries, and an ever increasing demand from collectors in the UK and abroad, all bear witness to Mervyn Goode's continued success, and to the esteem in which his work is held. Mervyn lives near Hawkley in East Hampshire.
