Walks and Talks Programme 2008

CPRE Hampshire have just launched its 2008 walks and talks programme. As well as springtime guided walks in town and country, there are farm visits, and visits to nature reserves and industrial facilities.

The programme:

Thurs 3rd April, 10.30am: A guided walk around Old Portsmouth
Thurs 24th April, 5.30pm: AGM at Marwell Hotel (see for details see news)
Wed 30th April, 10.30am: A guided walk around Ampfield and Slackstead
Sunday 11th May, 11.30am: A 'Countryside Day' at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, near Portsmouth. (see press release
Sat 21st June, 10.00am: Two farm visits, Wintershill Farm Estate, near Winchester.
Wed 16th July, 6.30pm: Tour of Lyburn Farm (between Southampton and Salisbury).
Sun 3rd Aug, 2pm: A guided walk in historic Silchester/
Sun 30th Aug, 10.30am: Visit to Fleet Pond Nature Reserve (an SSSI)
Tues 23rd Sept, 6.30pm: Tour of Twyford waterworks
Thurs 23rd Oct, 10.30am: Visit to Alton's Materials Recovery Facility.
