Mervyn Goode, one of the country's leading and most respected landscape painters who lives in Hampshire, has kindly donated a second beautiful oil painting to raise much-needed funds for the Hampshire branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England. His painting: 'Sheep in the Snow beside the Hampshire Rother' (canvas size - 16" x 24"; size framed - 22" x 30") is to be exhibited by the Wykeham Gallery, High Street, Stockbridge (just opposite the church) from Wednesday, 26th October onwards. A keen naturalist, and ardent conservationist, Mervyn Goode has, for over 30 years, lived in a rambling country house near Hawkley in Hampshire. By donating a painting for sale, Mervyn Goode hopes that he will be able to highlight the invaluable work that CPRE Hampshire undertakes; and he hopes also that sympathetic readers will join him in becoming members of CPRE Hampshire.
