Background Information

Transport Campaign Group

The Branch Transport Campaign Group campaigns for a sustainable transport system in Hampshire that maintains tranquillity in the countryside. It aims to improve people's understanding of transport issues and of CPRE's campaigns and policies.

CPRE wants to reduce the need for people to use environmentally damaging transport, and campaigns for better use of seating capacity on public transport. We support a reduction in new road building, and a more sensitive appearance to rural roads in Hampshire.

Farnborough Airport Expansion
SE Plan/Local transport Plan
Newbury By-Pass
Hindhead By-Pass
Froxfield Airstrip
