Congratulations to our dedicated Volunteers

Hannah Houstin-Lacey, Peter Bedford and Nevil Wilson from our North District Group Hannah Houstin-Lacey, Peter Bedford and Nevil Wilson from our North District Group Dee Haas

Awards presented to our friends in the North Hampshire District Group

Our thanks and congratulations go to three of our amazing volunteers in the North District Group who received Awards recognising their contribution.

The Awards were presented at the Colemore Gardens open day, just one of the delightful events arranged by our dedicated volunteers in the North District Group.

During the visit to these beautiful gardens, CPRE Hampshire Chairman Dee Haas presented the awards to Hannah Houstin-Lacey, Peter Bedford and Nevil Wilson in recognition of the outstanding contribution they make to the charity.

Hannah and Nevil were both presented with a Positive Contribution Award and Peter received an Outstanding Contribution Award.

This year Hannah has contributed to North Hampshire District Group’s famous fund raising reputation by organising a Bluebell Walk. She has also contributed much towards fundraisers in the past.

Without the work of people like Hannah, CPRE Hampshire really wouldn’t continue to exist.  We are so grateful for her unwavering support and contribution.

Nevil has been the anchor for CPRE North Hampshire District Group’s planning activities and their Honorary Secretary for many years. His dedication and commitment to CPRE in the Basingstoke area really marks him out.

He has also contributed much towards fundraising events in the past. Nevil can often be seen running the raffle at the Autumn Supper and he has penned countless responses against unwanted planning applications. I think it is safe to say that Nevil has made a positive impact over the years on the North Hampshire countryside.

Peter has been the Chair of the North Hampshire District Group and a Trustee of the Hampshire Branch for 9 years, the maximum time he can serve according to our constitution.

Peter has nurtured one of our most active District Groups, his personalised approach, supportive nature and attention to individuals has seen his group thrive.

He has championed the need to raise funds and energised people across the branch to take our income generation seriously. His wit and charming ways have seen him cultivate many relationships previously unforged and although he will remain a member of the District Group, his presence at EC will be sorely missed.

If you feel inspired by the contributions made by Hannah, Nevil and Peter then why not volunteer with us.
