All the latest news and updates from 2018 AGM

We were delighted to see so many of our members at this year’s AGM,  held on Saturday  22 April 2018.

A special thank you goes to Crispin Truman, Chief Executive of CPRE, who gave an informative talk on the future direction of the organisation and details of national campaigns such as affordable rural housing, the greenbelt and the Purpose Project.

This ongoing project is aimed at better defining the core objectives of CPRE, and how we communicate our work to a wider audience.  In particular, Crispin highlighted the  links between national office and us as a branch and how we can continue to grow and develop our relationship in the future.

Members reacted very positively to this news with some commenting they felt energised for the future of our cause. Many thanks to Crispin for joining us on the day.

It was with sadness we said goodbye to long-serving trustees, Peter Bedford, Peter Lindon, Peter Marshall, Christopher Napier and Edward Dawson.

Whilst we hope to continue to work with many of these outstanding volunteers in different capacities, we sincerely thank them all for the incredible contribution made to CPRE Hampshire and wish them all the best for the future.

A warm welcome also goes to our newest trustees nominated and voted in at the AGM. Welcome to Peter Prag, from the North Hampshire District Group and Alastair Clarke from the North East Hampshire District Group.
