District Groups

District Group events for 2007 will be advertised in the Spring newsletter. See also the latest district events page. Below are some reports on 2006 events. Check out the forthcoming Spring 2007 educational walks organised by the County Branch office.

• East Hampshire & Havant District Group
  Read the reports on Shaun Leavey's talk on farming and the landscape and the visit to Stansted Park with a deomnstration by Canine Partners.
  
  
• Hart & Rushmoor District Group
  A coach trip to Leckford Estate took place in early October. See announcement (PDF).
  
  
• Mid Hampshire District Group (Winchester/Eastleigh)
  Events enjoyed during 2006 included a Sunset Safari to Marwell Zoo, a visit to Cranbury Park House and gardens and a summer barbeque.
  
  
• New Forest & Southampton District Group
  Helped organise the behind the scenes visit to Exbury Gardens in November - read the visit report
  
  
• North Hampshire District Group
Visited Rousham House and Broughton Castle in July and had an an evening with hawks at the end of September.


• South Hampshire & Solent District Group
  
  
• Test Valley District Group
  Visits were made in May and June.
