CPRE Hampshire Announces 2008 Award Winners

CPRE Hampshire is proud to announce the four winners of its first Countryside and Design award. They are Portway Junior School, in Andover (photo), Bordon Junior School in East Hampshire, Futurefarms Ltd of Martin in the New Forest and Ballard Water Meadows in New Milton. Nominations are now open for the 2009 awards.

One Last Push for South Downs Petition

CPRE is calling all campaigners to sign the petition to the Prime Minister to include the Western Weald in the proposed South Downs National Park. Over the last few months CPRE has submitted significant evidence backing this position.

Latest Walks and Talks

Our 2008 'Walks and Talks' programme is well underway. Our family Countryside Day at Queen Elizabeth Park was a great success, especially the children's activities. Our next event is tour around Lyburn's cheese and organic Vegetable Farm on Wednesday 16th July.
