Test Valley District Group are holding an open meeting to which all are welcome. After drinks and nibbles, Caroline Dibden, a petroleum geologist and a member of CPRE's national advisory group on fracking, will speak on fracking and the countryside - facts and impacts.

Speaker - Caroline Dibden
A petroleum geologist with a masters degree in geophysics from Oxford, Caroline spent 15 years in the international oil business, running a team of geologists and engineers travelling round the world and acting as consultants to multinationals and governments.

For the last 16 years Caroline has worked with CPRE (the Campaign to Protect Rural England), leading the fight to ensure that development is of suitable design and location. Caroline is currently on CPRE’s national advisory group on fracking, utilising her background in the oil industry. She is passionate about protecting our unique and glorious landscape, and making it a place where the residents of today live safely and productively, whilst enhancing it for future generations.

The talk follows Test Valley District Group's AGM and social for CPRE members and would-be members at 6.30pm which we warmly invite you to attend.
