Fungus Foray fund-raiser for CPRE in the New Forest

As part of its Countryside Walks and Talks programme, the Campaign to Protect Rural England is organising an educational fungus foray into the New Forest on Wednesday, 3rd November from 10-12.30pm. It will be led by expert Philip Budd, a freelance ecological surveyor and chairman of the Southampton Natural History Society.
The walk will explore the wooded area around Fritham, searching for and identifying many different varieties of fungus present in the Forest, starting and finishing at Gorley Bushes car park, grid ref SU 229 140, in the northern part of the New Forest. The cost will be £6 to CPRE members, £8 to guests.
