Using Your Expertise and Time to Volunteer

We need to recruit more active volunteers who believe in what we are trying to achieve and are prepared to get involved.

At the recent AGM (May 2009) the chairman talked about campaigning à la carte. Rather than feel you have to over-commit to support a wide range of activities, you can now be selective as to which activity you support. Also much can now be done via email and those who espouse a particular cause can contribute directly.

Our volunteering opportunities fall into four categories:

  • Administrative and event support at the county branch office in Winchester - see below
  • Support your local district group, e.g. in local campaigns, social events, fund-raising - see district contacts
  • Contribute to the work of one the four county-wide groups - Planning & Rural, Transport Campaign Group, Campaigning Management Group and Fundraising & Social Group.
  • Contribute to specific campaigns - see campaign pages

If you think you can spare some time to help, please contact your local District Group Chairman (see contacts), contact the Branch Office on 01962 843655 or simply download and fill in the Volunteer Questionnaire (Word format) and return it to the administrator at CPRE Hampshire by email or post.

We would be delighted to hear from you!
