what we do
We need your consent to hold the details you are supplying within this website or as a result of contacting us following information you have viewed at this website, and the fact that you have provided such information is evidence of your consent. All the data we gather and hold is managed in strict accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998) in order to prevent any possible loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration of your information under our control.
When do we collect personal information?
We collect personal information from you when you make an online purchase, complete a donation, volunteer or contact form and when you register for events or enter competitions on this website. You may also be asked whether you would like to participate in surveys. Whether you participate in these surveys or not will be up to you.
What personally identifiable information do we collect?
We will collect your name, address, e-mail address and (if you wish to supply it) telephone number. In addition if you donate, subscribe and/or purchase goods or event participation via this website, we will also collect details of your credit or debit card; these will be used only to provide the goods or services requested and will not be retained by us.
What may your personal information be used for?
Membership information will be sent to you by post or e-mail.
If you are a CPRE Hampshire member, you are entitled to receive newsletters and an Annual Report together with events information and campaign updates. We need to retain your contact details in order to send you this information and do so for this purpose only.
Your details will be used only for the purposes for which submitted and we will not share this information with any other parties with the exception of The Campaign to Protect Rural England National Charity if you become a member, as you are automatically a member of both.
We may use personal information to undertake internal reviews and research in order to improve our membership scheme but the information used and the results gleaned will not be made public.
If you are a CPRE Hampshire member or you provide us with personal information in the context of an event, we may use your personal information to assess and develop future CPRE Hampshire events and activities
If you are not a CPRE Hampshire member but used this website to make a donation or purchase, we may use your personal information to provide you with further information regarding CPRE Hampshire unless you specifically asked us not to do so when giving us your information.
If you are a CPRE Hampshire member, you may at any time change your mind about receiving information from us. If you initially chose to receive such information, and subsequently decide that you wish to be removed from the mailing list, you can request that your details be removed by emailing us at either: email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org, or by writing to us at Beaconsfield House, Andover Road, Winchester SO22 6AT.

If you are purchasing goods or making a donation online, we will only use the information supplied to process the order and will not retain credit or debit card details beyond the completion of the transaction.
In cases where you order goods/services or donate/subscribe via this website your credit/debit card details are supplied by you in encrypted form to Paypal UK Ltd who are responsible for the security of these details and we will never see them.
If you are making purchases only, your contact details will be retained for delivery purposes and a record of your transaction retained for audit/accounting for as long as is legally required.
If you are purchasing goods and wish to receive further information about events and campaigns, you can request to be added to the email list by email the following: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
What if I don't want to accept cookies?
