County Groups
In addition to our local groups we have two groups that operate across the county.
- Planning & Policy Group - this group aims to achieve wider recognition of issues relating to land use and planning within Hampshire, and to improve understanding of CPRE's national policies and campaigns. The group has a wide ranging remit that includes such topics as rural communities, transport, farming, the rural economy, water, waste, energy, litter reduction, minerals, tranquil places, forestry and light pollution.
- Transport Campaign Group - this group campaigns for a sustainable transport system in Hampshire and seeks to maintain a pollution-free tranquil environment in the countryside and in villages. Its aim is to improve the understanding of national and local transport issues, of CPRE campaigns and policies and of its links in partnership with national and local authorities. It has recently developed a sustainable transport toolkit and has promoted electric bikes in the South Downs National Park.
